Real Weddings: A Taste of the South
Oh how we loved working with Monica and Matt! They were such a great looking couple with hearts full of love for each other. Monica shared our idea of a traditional wedding with a few vintage touches. From Matt’s white dinner jacket to Monica’s long flowing veil, we could relive this wedding for years to come.
Monica’s bouquet was filled with hydrangeas, peonies, calla lilies, and beautiful garden roses. The bridesmaids carried similar bouquets, adding in touches of blush peonies and light blue tweedia to blend with the bridesmaid dresses. The cake was beautifully designed by Incredible Edibles to mimic Monica’s wedding gown.
The reception was filled with white lounge furniture, spring green and soft blue linens, candlelight, and florals in whites, creams, and blush pinks with pops of butter yellow and hot pink to create a unique southern reception. Monica had pillows in fabric to blend with the reception fabricated with the newlywed monogram. Garlic cheese grits packaged in linen bags from a local farmer served as the party favors for the guests.
