Simply Stunning on the Beach

When planning a beach wedding, sometimes the best route is a simple design allowing the guests to take in the beauty of their surroundings.¬† Anna Bett took that exact route when planning her own wedding!¬† She came to us with the desire for a simple beach ceremony that still presented the elegant look of a wedding… Anna chose to have her ceremony and reception at the Beach Clubhouse of Debordieu Colony, which without a doubt has one of the most beautiful beach sites along the Grand Strand. ¬†The wedding was filled with great little details shot by the wonderful Paula Player!

The ceremony was marked by two french galvanized pails filled with bamboo stalks, white dendrobium orchids, and assorted beach grasses.  The aisle was lined with gun metal gray lanterns to create a simple, yet modern style.

We used similar galvanized pails for the entrance to the cocktail hour, using palm fronds in place of the dendrobium orchids.

Anna and Andrew were such a joy to work with!  They were a very fun and loving couple, and it showed throughout the entire process of the wedding.

The bridesmaids received stylish dresses from Nordstrom that can be worn over and over again after the wedding. ¬†All of the groomsmen wore tennis shoes that they got to design and customize themselves. ¬†As if that wasn’t awesome enough, a local gospel group dressed in old-age African inspired attire led the wedding guests to the ceremony on the beach!

For centerpieces, Anna Bett and her mother found these great hand-blown oversized bottles that we filled with white, creams, and grasses.  They made a great impact in the Beach Clubhouse of Debordieu.

We love getting these great weddings to style with such wonderful vendors! ¬†We can’t wait to work with them all again! ¬†Congratulations to Anna Bett and Andrew!
